Take the old top very carefull apart: so you can see how it was fitted original. When the rubbers are good, take them off very carefull, so you can use them again.
Then make sure you gleu the metal parts (on both sides and the back) on the right spot. When you dismantled the old top, you could see that it is gleud and screwed on the top: make sure you don't cut it off to small (as my dad did), so you can screw it together as well. Without it also works, but I'm not sure how long it's gonna last.
And be very patiened...then the result will be the best.
