Today the BMW Car Club GB North East Region went to the Classics in Corbridge organized by MG Northumbria.
A few photos to give an impression of the day...

Thanks Nick for the pictures. It's funny to see so many right hand driven BMW E30 or three Series together. The weather looks also fine, we've had today nearly 40 degree.... Hope you enjoyed the meeting
Gruß Daniel

Heyda Nick,
During my travels across UK I've seen some E30's right hand steered cars but as well a lot of left hand steered Beemers ... It might be usual to have E30's with the steeringwheel at the left side in UK, right?

Sometimes I am pondering to have a right hand steered E30 here in Germany ... might be funny at the pictures from the speedcontrol cameras. Because in Germany the co-driver have to be removed from the picture ...

In my experience there are very few Left Hand Drive BMWs here. There are some rare models eg some E30 M3s which were only available in LHD or are imports. But most standard BMWs here are RHD.
Except of course for my E46 Touring. I brought it back from Holland with me when I moved back to England earlier this year, so I see one LHD BMW every day !

There are other games to play with a car that is the wrong way round. Like cruising past a police car whilst the 'driver' reads a newspaper Herrje!

Nice to see the pictures; UK has really a great car tradition!

Hi Nick,
I believe I saw the red Mk III Escort XR3 in Otterburn a couple of years ago. That was a great show too. Thank you for sharing the photos.
In August (6 - 21) we'll stay for two weeks in the UK, joining our friends in Jesmond, but also in Scotland and two days in London. Maybe we could meet inbetween, drinking a NCL Brown Ale? Fettes Grinsen

That's great´, Nick!
Let's meet for a beer (Osborne Road on 16/17 August ?).
My wife and girls are planning to buy out half of Eldon Square Haare zu Berge, so I'll take our old 525i Touring (2003 E39); nothing special though.
